Dress Up

Someone likes to try shoes on - apparently mommy's. Luckily, he's not partial to mine. He puts daddy's shoes on too. :)

Mommy's Little Helper

Joey loves to help! No matter the "job" I give him, he's happy to help. I hope this phase sticks around for a while. :)

Painting

It's hot out there! We've been doing some crafts indoors to keep this kiddo occupied.

Soccer Again

With temps spiking up into the 100's (we're overdue, it is August), we decided to enroll Joey in soccer for the last month of the summer. So far, he's doing a lot better. What a difference a few months makes.

Joey was kicking the ball around the gym like a mad man. And of course, in true fashion, as soon as I grab my phone to start recording, Coach Michelle distracted him. This is the first of a few weeks of soccer though, so we'll see what I can get. :)

Puzzles

Joey loves to put puzzles together and he's actually getting pretty good at it. He's recognizing where the pieces go and is developing the patience to turn them until they fit. Next step - mixing the pieces up a little to make it a little more challenging for him.

Play Date!

This morning Joey had a playdate with some friends at Jump Zone. It's an indoor bounce house kingdom. I thought this kiddo would be all over the bounce houses and slides...I was wrong. He didn't want to get on them, I had to drag him up and down a couple. I guess he's just not there yet. :) We'll try it again in a few months when it's cold and snowy.
