Charlotte: 1 Month

Our sweet little girl is one month old already! Time is flying by! We've enjoyed the company of family over baby's first month here and are trying to fine tune her schedule. Charlie eats consistently every 3 hours at night, closer to ever 2 hours during the day. She enjoys lying on a blanket and watching her giraffe and loves to snuggle.

Charlie is weighing in at 9 pounds even and is 21" long. Here is her one month photo - which she wasn't the happiest about.

Happy Memorial Day!

Smith Family Visit

Grandma Smith came down to spend the week with us. We also got to spend the weekend with Grandpa Smith and Great-Grandma Smith. Here are a few photos from their visit.

Baby's First Bath

Charlotte's umbilical cord FINALLY fell off. She got to have her first real bath. She wasn't too sure of it, but it's MUCH better than those dreadful sponge baths. Those really made her mad.

Grandma's in town

We picked Grandma up from the airport and headed to lunch at Cabella's.

Sometimes the fight just isn't worth it. Joey wanted to put stickers on. 3. sheets. everywhere. And it was all right in front of me - not in the other room without my knowledge, like it would appear. Not worth the fight. Go ahead. Then, when he was finished, he wanted to put each one back where it belonged on the original sheet. Guess it's just like doing a puzzle. Kind of.

Big Bro, Little Sis

2 weeks old!

My how the time is flying! Charlotte is two weeks old! We are still figuring things out, be we're doing pretty well getting on a schedule. Charlie consistently eats every three hours. She'll try to shave some time off during the daytime, but sticks to the three hours at night. She's really good about getting up to feed, then going back to sleep easily at night. Thank goodness! We're still doing the sponge bath thing because he umbilical cord is hanging on tight!

We headed to the pediatrician's office today and Charlie is growing fantastically! She weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces (31 percentile) and is 20 inches long (43 percentile). Here's a photo of her hanging out and waiting on the doctor.

Family Time

With Charlie, we're trying something new. Gowns instead of the typical footed PJs. BEST decision EVER! Love them!!! And she happens to look super adorable.
